Maximizing Wedding Sales: Why Every Venue Needs to Track Site Tour Success

I spoke to 4 venues last week, and in every one of those meetings, I asked this question:

What is your success rate for your site visits? That is, once you get a couple out to tour your venue, what percentage signs a contract?

Half of the venues I spoke with didn’t know. They weren’t tracking that number. And you know what? They need to be.

Every venue needs to be tracking site tour success rates. The site tour is the most powerful opportunity you have in the life cycle of the wedding sale. You need to know that at least 50% of the time, you are booking that couple.

You can do this with a simple Google sheet. (And, because we’re such helpful people, we created a template for you!

In an upcoming post, I’ll discuss what to look at if your success rate is below that 50% threshold.

TO DO FOR YOU:

If you are not currently tracking your site tour success percentage, download the spreadsheet and start ASAP.
