Happy New Year!
I know your phones are ringing off the hook and your inboxes are full, so I thought we’d start out the year with two tech tips that I use every day.
These are from the Here Comes The Guide Tech Guru, Maggie Munki, who always keeps our team high and tight with her tips and tricks.
Take it away, Maggie!

1. AN EASIER WAY TO CREATE A NEW GOOGLE DOC
I know, creating a new Google Doc isn’t that hard, but once you know how to create one with even more ease, you’re going to thank me for all those seconds you’ve gained!
Instead of navigating to a blank page through your Google Drive, just type “doc.new” into your web browser’s search bar, and it’ll take you to a fresh document. (You can also open a new Google Sheet with “sheet.new” or a new Slide with “slide.new“).
So easy, right?! Don’t you feel snazzy?
Ok, since that was so quick, I’ll give you another.
2. REMOVING THAT PESKY TEXT FORMATTING:

PC: control+shift+v
Mac: option+command+shift+v
So, instead of pasting this:

You can paste this without the original formatting or fancy styling:
Yoga Haiku
I’d go to yoga,
But they don’t serve donuts there.
Namaste right here.

Oh, Maggie, your tips make me feel smarter every time I use them. And who can’t benefit from that?
Here’s to a very efficient (and healthy!) 2022!
